Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Do you use film or digital?
Answer: Currently I use professional film in order to obtain the highest quality but for an additional fee, Cox Photo can have the negatives scanned and put on a Compact Disc (CD).
Question: Do you sell your negatives?
Answer: Normally, no. Unless you are in the photography business, you can't get the same quality of print that professionals are able to.
Question: Do you charge a travel fee?
Answer: There is no travel fee in the Greater Houston Area or within an hours drive of Lake Conroe or Texas A&M University. If the location is further than 60 miles, then expenses of $0.345/mile and hotel costs are incurred. Meals will not be charged.
Question: Do I keep the proof set?
Answer: The wedding and reception proof sets are returned with the album order. You keep the proof set for the engagement photo session, the bridal portrait session and the rehearsal dinner.
Question: Why do you go to the rehearsal dinner?
Answer: First of all, I attend the rehearsal in order to meet the minister and wedding party. This also provides familiarity to me as to where and how the service is to be performed. I see the "flow" of the wedding and know the set-up at the location for optimum photo's during the service. Second, I go to the rehearsal dinner and photograph the wedding party, close friends and family memebers in a relaxed atmosphere. If there is enough room at the rehearsal dinner location, I use a light set to provide some outstanding photo's of your family and close friends. This gives me the opportunity to better know the "very important persons" which make for better photo's on your wedding day. The benefit to is that your receive some very nice casual photo's of your loved ones.
